10th National Games for Persons with Disabilities to be held in Tianjin

The “100 Days Countdown” event of the 10th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 7th National Special Olympic Games was held in Tianjin University of Technology on the 29th National Day for Helping the Disabled, which falls on May 19 this year.
Zhou Changkui, chairman of the China Disabled Persons' Federation (CDPF) board of executive directors, announced that the event was launched, witnessing this moment with thousands of participants.
The volunteers and service personnel of the games took their oath, and certificates were presented to donors of the games.
The children in Tianjin presented flowers to representatives of winners of the sixth national role models with disabilities and outstanding people in helping the disabled.
Zhou visited the interactive experience area to learn about the poverty alleviation work for people with disabilities, the cultural and sports activities for the disabled, and disability service offered by different units. Zhou encouraged people with disabilities and their supporters to make persistent efforts, and make progress in the work for people with disabilities in Tianjin.
After the event, Zhou also watched the Taekwondo competition on the spot.
The main competitions of the 10th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 7th National Special Olympic Games will be held from Aug 25 to Sep 1. This is the first time that the two games will be held in the same city as the National Games of China. Some competitions are already in progress.
